Asbestos Bulk Sample

Service Description

Unsure if a specific item in your home or work place contains asbestos? You can book a surveyor to come to your property to safely take the sample and have it analysed. The standard turnaround time on analysis is 3-5 days but you have the option to pay a little extra and have this analysed sooner. Additional samples are charged at £15 per sample. The surveyor will usually be on site for around half an hour max depending on where the sample is to be taken. Please make sure the surveyor will be able to access the sample*. Prices start at £55 for within a 5 mile radius of the Whitburn office. This includes travel to site with one standard turn around sample. Additional cost is dependant on travel time to client site. On completion, a certificate of analysis will be issued from a UKAS accredited lab detailing the results for asbestos. Please get in touch for bespoke service. *We take health and safety seriously. Safe access is a must for our surveyors, please let us know if high level access is required as this will need planning beforehand. Also if the sample is from a roof space, crawl boards may be needed. No attempt will be made in to confined space, unstable buildings or live electrical items for sampling. Please get in touch if this is required. The surveyor has the right to refuse entry onto the property if they feel their health and safety will be compromised.
